Phishing is the criminally fraudulent process of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication. Beware of any email that asks you to verify personal information. Beware of emails claiming they are from the government to advise you of a breach of security. MariSol Federal Credit Union has secure ways to contact it members. We will not send emails asking you to call us. We will not nor will federal or state agencies create a site for you to “increase your security level”. Do not respond to these emails, they may contain malicious software.
